Content Management Systems (CMS)
Content Management Systems are website applications that allow users to administer their website without any knowledge in HTML markup or web programming with relative ease. For example www.wrexhamcrimelink.co.uk, the administrators can add, modify and delete web pages. Content can be added to web pages using an interface similar to Microsoft Word so no technical web based skills are necessary.
New secure pages can be created as well so that it is only accessible by certain members of the Council, Shop Owners and the Police.
A more complicated CMS would include being able to allow site visitors to log in and sign up for events or offers. eg. www.the107club.co.uk. Here the site owner has complete control over events, payments, special offers etc.
The alternative is to send your updates through to us and we write them in to your website.
In all of these cases there is a real benefit to your websites visibility online, because by adding relevant and regular specialist content to your site, it becomes more noticeable to search engines.
